Create with Tripo AI
Tripo AI turns text, photos, and multiple views into 3D models. Create characters, props, and object concepts without building the first mesh by hand.
Describe an object
Turn an idea into a first 3D shape. Describe the subject, its proportions, and defining details, from a rounded robot to a ceramic lamp.
Bring a photo or drawing
Use Tripo3D to turn a photo, sketch, or illustration into a model you can explore from every angle. Choose an image that shows the whole object clearly.
Show more than one side
Have matching views of the same object? Give Tripo a front view and additional angles to describe parts that one image leaves out. Keep the shape, colors, and details consistent across the set.
Choose Geometry and Texture Settings
Tripo 3D generation separates shape detail from surface appearance. Choose the geometry and textures your project needs.
Focus on the form
Choose geometry-only output to develop the silhouette before working on color. For a prop or character concept, this makes it easier to judge proportions and how the main parts connect.
Add color and material detail
Choose textured output to include color and surface detail. Adjust texture quality, or enable physically based rendering (PBR) materials for use with lighting in compatible 3D software.
Choose a useful level of detail
Choose geometry quality and a target face count for your next step. Use more detail for a close-up object study, or a lighter mesh for a prop that will share a scene with other assets.
Preview, Download, Keep Creating
The result is a 3D model you can view from different angles and take into your own workflow.
See the whole object
Rotate and zoom in the browser to look beyond the starting image. Check the back, underside, and small connections before choosing the result you want to keep.
Download Your Tripo 3D Model
Save the GLB to work with the model outside your browser. Where the result includes additional files, download those alongside it for the next stage of your project.
Make it part of your project
Import the GLB into compatible software such as Blender to adjust the mesh, materials, or scale. Build a scene around a prop, refine a character concept, or prepare an object for printing.
Prepare Your Reference for Tripo
Start with a clear view of your object. Create a reference if you need one, or remove a distracting background from an image you already have.
Create the reference first
Explore the shape, colors, and materials of an object before generating it in 3D. Create a reference from text or refine an existing image.
Generate a reference imageGenerate a transparent PNG
Create an object image with a transparent background to use as a new visual reference.
Create transparent imagesRemove a distracting backdrop
Isolate an object from an existing photo or illustration to prepare a clear reference for Tripo.

What can I create with Tripo AI (Tripo3D)?
You can generate objects such as characters, creatures, props, and decorative pieces from text or reference images. Use the result to explore a concept in three dimensions, then download the model to develop it further in your 3D software.
Can I try Tripo AI for free?
Yes. Sign in to try free 3D generation with Tripo AI. Your account shows the free options available before you generate.
Can I generate a 3D model from a single photo?
Yes. Choose image to 3D and upload a clear view of one object. Tripo uses the visible shape and appearance to generate a model, including surfaces outside the photograph. Those unseen areas are inferred, so check the result from other angles in the preview.
Can I use multiple views of the same object?
Yes. Tripo supports a front view with additional left, back, or right views. Use matching images of the same object to show details hidden from the front, such as a handle, attachment, or rear panel.
Can I download and edit my model in Blender?
Yes. Download the GLB and import it into Blender to work on the geometry and materials. You can adjust scale, refine the shape, or place it in a scene. Additional downloadable assets depend on the generation result.
Can I use the results for games or 3D printing?
Generated models can be a starting point for both. For a game, review mesh complexity, materials, and any rigging your project needs. For printing, check dimensions, wall thickness, and whether the mesh is closed, then repair and convert it to a format your slicer accepts. These preparation steps happen in your 3D software.
